How area progression works in Steal From The Rich!: richer areas, greater treasures, the dig site and space-themed crates, and the new Angelic Area.

How does progression work in Steal From The Rich!?

You climb a ladder of richer areas, each holding greater treasures. The official description promises to “reach richer areas and discover greater treasures,” and the game delivers that literally: new regions arrive with bigger crates and bigger guardians. Your job as a thief is to move up that ladder at the pace your Speed and base can support — too slow wastes time, too fast loses crates.

What areas exist in the game?

Official art confirms several distinct regions, with the Angelic Area as the newest. From the game’s own promotional images and description you can see:

  • The starting areas — where plain crates and the first treadmill upgrades live.
  • The desert dig site — home of the Archeologist Crate, patrolled by a green T-rex, shown at $94,6794Sp/s in official art.
  • Space-themed content — the Space Crate, shown inside a protective bubble at 97,6754Sp/s with an astronaut at its side.
  • The vault heist — a gold-stacked vault with suited guards, the game’s signature “steal from the rich” fantasy.
  • The Angelic Area — the newest region, announced “OUT NOW” with the September 29, 2026 update.

What is the Angelic Area?

The game’s latest major region, live since the September 29, 2026 update. The developer announced it at the top of the official description — ”😇 ANGELIC AREA OUT NOW! ✨👼☁️” — continuing the pattern of themed regions with their own treasures. For progression purposes, treat it as the current end of the ladder: the Angelic Area update page covers what the update changed and how to prepare for it.

In what order should you unlock areas?

Match the area to your Speed, then move up one rung at a time. The honest order for a new thief:

  1. Start local — bank plain crates until your treadmill is leveling steadily (Speed guide).
  2. Push to the named crates — Demon, then Space and Archeologist as your escapes get clean (crate tiers).
  3. Enter the newest region last — the Angelic Area’s treasures reward thieves who arrive with trained Speed and a solid base (base guide).

The exact level gates are not published by the developer; the in-game area entrances tell you when you are allowed in, and your drop rate tells you when you belong there.

What changes in richer areas?

Bigger values, bigger risks, longer carries. Every step up the ladder adds guardians — the lava monster over the crate lineups, the T-rex at the dig site, the vault guards — and stretches the trip home. That is why area progression is really a Speed and base checklist: the areas themselves do not move, but your ability to survive the carry does. Official art makes the stakes plain — the heist image on the what-is page is a player escaping a vault mid-chase.

How do you know an area is worth farming?

Watch your crate-per-trip value, not the area’s shine. A richer area is only better if you leave with more per minute than the previous one. If you are dropping crates to guardians or taking so long between banks that your income stalls, step back down one area, train, and return. That rhythm — push, measure, step back, train — is how steady progression actually feels in a steal-and-haul game.
